Fix:
as root run
mv -f /var/lib/pgsql /var/lib/pgsql.old

then run
yes | /scripts/installpostgres

Don’t forget to do:

WHM-> SQL Services ->Postgres Config->Postgres Config Install

and then

WHM-> SQL Services ->Postgres Config->Postgres Password
